Isle in the Mist
Deep within the mist lies
an ancient isle veiled from mankind’s eyes
Where wisdom ancient and vast
holds truths untold firmly amassed
The priestess guards with care
to safeguard the magic rare
The mysteries within, dark and deep
must the ancient magic keep
For lost is the connection today
to the Goddess they no longer pray
Her magic misunderstood, in disarray
if stolen, would not be used for good, they say
Yet the time will come when all shall see
that to the Goddess they must plea
Her arms open wide for those who seek
to hear her words meek
“Find me, my child,”
deep within the mist, amidst the wild
